Our Mission: To bridge the educational gap for children in remote and underserved communities by making quality learning resources accessible, affordable, and engaging, regardless of internet connectivity.

Our Story: LearnLite was born in a village in Cambodia, where our co-founders, Sarah and David, met a teacher named Grace. She was holding class for forty children under a mango tree with a single textbook and no electricity.

When Sarah showed her a tablet loaded with educational videos, the children were mesmerized. But Grace asked the question that changed everything: "This is wonderful. But what happens when the battery dies? And how do we get more lessons without the internet?"

That question exposed the flaw in most ed-tech: it assumed connectivity. Sarah and David realized the real problem wasn't a lack of good content—it was a lack of access to it in the places that needed it most.

So they built a different solution. They stripped away the need for the cloud. They optimized lessons to run entirely offline, paired the tablets with solar chargers, and worked with local teachers to adapt the curriculum to each region.

Today, LearnLite brings that same light to off-grid communities around the world. Because we believe a child's access to quality education should never depend on a signal bar.

What We Do: LearnLite is an ed-tech startup that provides a digital learning platform loaded onto low-cost, solar-powered tablets. Our key innovation is that all the educational content—interactive lessons, videos, and quizzes—works completely offline. We partner with local teachers and governments to adapt the curriculum to specific regions and languages.

Our Impact: LearnLite directly addresses the “quality education” and “inequity” pillars of SDG 4 by reaching the hardest-to-reach learners, helping to ensure no child is left behind because of their location or lack of infrastructure.
